Provides respiratory protection against organic vapors, acid gases and particles of specific substances and regulated by OSHA. Approved by NIOSH / MSHA; Used with 3M full face and full face respirators with bayonet filter holder. Do not use in closed areas or confined spaces.
 
This P100 acid gas / vapor cartridge for filter can be used for many activities, including petrochemical laboratories, pharmaceutical and chemical manufacturing. The "swept-back" design offers more comfort and visibility. When properly adjusted, it provides respiratory protection against certain organic vapors, chlorine, hydrogen chloride, sulfur dioxide, hydrogen sulfide or hydrogen fluoride, as well as against non-oily and oily particles in concentrations up to 10 times above the allowed exposure limit. (PEL) with half masks or 50 times the PEL with full masks. Full masks must be tested in their fit qualitatively to ensure the assigned protection factor above 10 in negative pressure mode. Do not use in environments that are an immediate danger to life or health (IDLH).
