Provides respiratory protection against certain organic vapors and some alcohols (except methanol), some acetones, some solvents (except methylene chloride, tetrafluoroethylene, propionaldehyde and others), etc. Approved by NIOSH against no more than 1000 p.p.m of certain organic vapors. Used with 3M full face and full face respirators with bayonet filter holder.
 
The use in a variety of applications the place of work, including petrochemical, manufacture of chemical products, construction, transport and electronics. If placed correctly, it helps provide respiratory protection for certain organic vapors at concentrations up to 10 times the permissible exposure limit (PEL) with the average or 50 times PEL masks with full facepieces. Complete masks shall be fit by quantitative adjustment test to claim assigned protection factor above 10 in negative pressure mode. It should not be used in environments that are an immediate danger to life or health (IDLH).
