Provides respiratory protection against organic vapors, Chlorine, Chlorine Dioxide, Hydrogen Chloride, Sulfur Dioxide, Hydrogen Fluoride, Hydrogen Sulfide (only exhaust), Ammonia, Methylamines, Formaldehyde and specific substance particles and regulated by OSHA. Approved by NIOSH / MSHA; Used with 3M full face and full face respirators with bayonet filter holder. Do not use in closed areas or confined spaces.
 
Used in a wide variety of applications, including petrochemical and chemical processing, services, pharmaceuticals, mining and primary metals. When used correctly, it helps provide respiratory protection against certain organic vapors and particles, chlorine, hydrogen chloride, sulfur dioxide, chlorine dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, ammonia, methylamine, formaldehyde or hydrogen fluoride in concentrations of up to 10 times the permissible exposure limit (PEL) with half masks or 50 times the PEL with full masks. Full masks must pass a quantitative fit test to claim the assigned protection factor above 10 in negative pressure mode. Do not use in environments that represent an immediate danger to life or health (IDLH). OSHA requires gas-safe goggles to be worn with half mask respirators when used against formaldehyde.
